Selected New Hampshire State Parks

Elm Brook Park in Contoocook, is owned by the US Army Corp of Engineers, and offers picnicking, swimming and boating. Pictured here, is Hopkinton Lake, part of the park and a great place to fish!
Endicott Rock Historic Site in Laconia is often referred to as a state park on state maps but is in reality a rock with surveyors' initials dating back to 1652 covered with a simple but attractive structure. It's located adjacent to the Weirs Beach parking lot.
Greenfield State Park in Greenfield, offers 232 individual campsites, 5 youth group sites, plus great day use facilities.
Miller State Park in Peterborough offers a mountain top experience for those with good auto brakes. You can drive to the summit, then walk or drive down. The views are splendid and chipmunks abound. This park is worth your time!
Pillsbury State Park (Washington) offers primitive camping, including sites only available by canoe! The park is home to several bodies of water and most of the campsites are near them. Because there are just a few dozen campsites in a large park, the park never feels congested. Shown here is campsite #30.
