Selected New Hampshire State Parks

A small park in Laconia, Ahern State Park has a small but wonderful beach that reminds you of Gilligan's Island.

Bear Brook State Park in Allentown (just a few miles from the Epsom Traffic Circle) has an excellent beach, but also camping, an archery range, hiking trails and three onsite museums. Swimmers beware: the water at this beach always seems to be a few degrees cooler than other state parks. More Bear Brook Photos.
Cardigan State Park, located in the small town of Orange, provides excellent out of the way hiking!
Clough State Park, located on Everett Lake in Weare, is owned by the US Army Corps on Engineers but leased to the State of NH. Its has a 900 foot beach, picnic areas, boat launches and acres of tall pines. You can also enjoy walking along the dam.
Coleman State Park enjoys being situated on Little Diamond Pond in Stewartstown. It offers camping, fishing and boating on a nearly private pond and is a great place for children to fish!
